Canada-based software company BenchSci has announced the appointment of Vanessa Ribreau as Chief People Officer. In her new role, Ribreau will work on creating a great employee experience. “We are thrilled to announce Vanessa Ribreau has joined the team as our new Chief People Officer. Ribreau brings over 10 years of experience in growing, scaling, and optimizing global departments as well as aligning and leading the HR teams. Prior to joining BenchSci, Ribreau was associated with AlayaCare, most recently as Global VP – People, Places & Technologies. There, she was responsible for internal operations, IT, people, and culture.
Before AlayaCare, Ribreau held a senior HR leadership role at Shopify, a leading global e-commerce player. In this role, she contributed to the aggressive scaling of the business, including 100 percent YoY organic growth in Montreal from 25 to 350 employees in addition to multiple international M&A transactions. In her career, Ribreau has also worked with Global Eagle Entertainment, Digital Dimension, Cowan International, and Yahoo. On her new joining, Vanessa Ribreau, Chief People Officer, BenchSci, said, “I am genuinely thrilled to be joining BenchSci with its impressive mission, surmounting challenges, and amazing team.” Ribreau holds an MBA degree from ISC Paris.
